SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision the Business Intelligence Systems Analyst
will provide support for all Business Intelligence initiatives. The
Systems Analyst will determine internal and external customer
requirements, perform complex research and analysis, use technical
skills to extract/combine various data and develop reports to
provide recommendations and improve organizational performance
within an Agile environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conducts research and defines project scope and objectives. Works
directly with department personnel and other departments within
organization from concept through implementation with minimal
guidance
Ability to create and support complex SQL reports and perform in
depth analysis
Ability to create and maintain complex ETL processes using SSIS
packages and SQL Agent Jobs
Create effective reports (Power BI) using data visualization
techniques
Modify existing reports using data visualization techniques to
simplify results
Identifies manual processes in reporting and assists in projects to
automate
Present findings and reports to mid-level and non-management
personnel throughout the organization
Create and maintain technical guidelines and procedures to ensure
best technical practices are followed by entire department
Manage functionality and daily operations of specified systems or
applications.
Create and maintain documentation of software configurations,
reports and solutions
Acquires and maintains an in-depth understanding of the technical
and functional architecture of assigned systems and integration
Consistently meet assigned project deadlines and goals
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing
priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with both
technical and non-technical staff
Participate in Agile methodologies of Scrum, Stand ups and
Sprints
You will be based in our Operations Center (Lake Mary, FL). This
position is a blended in-office/from home arrangement in 3 week
cycles. (1 day in office weeks 1 & 2, in office week 3). This is a
full-time role working a minimum of 40 hours per week, with
availability Monday to Friday based on need. This position may
require occasional work outside of standard business hours.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Business Statistics, Data Science or related field is
required. Five plus years of related experience in programming,
business analytics projects, application implementation and
database management. Strong attention to detail and excellent
technical and communication skills are mandatory. Financial service
industry experience a plus.
Strong analytical skills, provides out-of-the-box solutions for
problems or difficulties
Ability to operate with an analytical, data-driven mindset to
derive actionable insights from data
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists
In-depth knowledge of databases and other research tools used to
gather and interpret member/market data
Extensive SQL programming experience
Extensive data visualization experience using programs such as
Power BI and/or SSRS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make
advanced analytics concepts accessible to non-technical team
members
Knowledge of database management and software configuration
