Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Modeling and Simulation
Engineer for an exciting Orlando, FL position on a missile
The effort includes:
Modeling and simulation efforts for maintaining the IFS for a
Coordination with algorithms engineers for inclusion of algorithms
and model development for several investigations
Analyze feasibility, accuracy and appropriateness of current models
for the program Group 1
Simulation in a C++ based simulation
Derivation of model requirements
Justification of models adaptation of models to HWIL
Detailed understanding of missile dynamics is required
Knowledge of modeling processes, verification and validation
Creation of Simulation modeling Description Documents (SMDDs)
Knowledge of statistical methods for Monte Carlo evaluations
Working knowledge of Agile
Support to performance analysis, software and algorithms,
requirements and mechanical and electrical team
You must have an active secret security clearance with
investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past
5 years) to be considered for this role.

years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional
experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with C++ programming and simulation development.
You must already have an active secret security clearance with an
investigation that was performed within the past 5 years
Previous missile defense experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
