Professionals, We Want You! The Northrop Grumman Classified
Solutions team is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with HPC
expertise to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The
qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s
Aeronautics Systems support team in Melbourne, FL. Note: Due to the
classified nature of the work being performed, this position does
not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants

Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the
following: Maintaining operations of multi-user Linux network
services. Providing technical support for Linux systems and
associated networks. Installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and
repairing Linux servers and workstations. Installing,
upgrading/patching, problem resolution, and configuration
management of systems. Providing backup and recovery services;
managing file systems and disk space Manage system compliance along
with assisting in additional security related actions on a routine
basis. Investigate information, network, and communications needs
of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware
purchases. Coordinating actions with users, IT staff, server
administrators, network engineers, and IT management. Recommending
and implementing system/process enhancements to improve performance
and reliability of the system. Establishing high levels of customer
satisfaction by resolving trouble tickets within established SLAs.
Participating in new installations, testing and special projects as
needed. Exhibiting good communication skills, an energetic
approach, and patience with customers. Demonstrates the skill and
ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. Provides
solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope
and complexity as assigned Work is reviewed for soundness of
technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to
the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
Failure to achieve results or inadequate work product should be
detected by supervisory oversight but may cause delay in program
schedules and allocation of additional resources Primarily internal
company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside
customer contacts on routine matters. Lifting equipment weighing up
to 40 pounds. Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications for Level 3: Master's Degree with 3 years of
experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR
an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School
Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of experience is required Must
have a Security CE or higher; maintaining the required
certification will be a condition of continued employment
Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance
(at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top
Secret clearance in order to be considered Candidates must have the
ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a
condition of continued employment Experience with configuring,
administering, and maintaining Red Hat or other Linux systems
Experience operating under, and managing systems within, NISPOM
Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information
system environments Experience contributing to the architecture and
design of new and current HPC systems Basic Qualifications for
Level 4: Master's Degree with 6 years of experience; OR a
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience; OR an Associate's
Degree with 10 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or
equivalent) with 12 years of experience is required Must have a
Security CE or higher; maintaining the required certification will
be a condition of continued employment Candidates must have a
current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the
ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance in order
to be considered Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and
maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued

current HPC systems Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
Information Technology Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraph, or
SAP/SAR access would be nice to have 10 years of Server
Administration to include Active Directory and Group Policy in a
classified environment At least 5 years of experience in Parallel
Software systems and synchronization. Experience with Linux
Operation system with System Administration skills Experience with
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Experience with Ansible
integrating with Satellite server. Experience with Ansible
integrating with VMware vCenter. Experience with HPC hardware
systems, including Node structures, parallel storage systems, high
performance low latency network systems. Experience with Job
queuing, resource management & sharing; LSF or Slurm Experience
with basic scripting languages such as Python, Perl and Matlab
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer
hardware in a networked enterprise environment. Linux/Windows
Server management experience Networking experience, including
subnets, routing and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification
Solid understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts Windows
Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage
systems Linux Operating System experience and/or certification for
current versions VMWare (current version) experience Familiarity of
enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery methodologies We

$89,400.00 - $134,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00
- $167,500.00 The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
