Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate
Ophthalmic Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal
candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing high-quality
eye care to patients. This role involves performing various
diagnostic tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth
patient experience. Key Responsibilities: - Assist ophthalmologists
during examinations and procedures. - Perform diagnostic tests such
as visual acuity tests, tonometry, and retinal imaging. - Prepare
and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment. - Document
patient history and test results accurately in electronic health
records. - Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent;
certification as an ophthalmic technician preferred. - Strong
attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability
to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare
professionals. - Proficient in using ophthalmic equipment and
technology. - Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. -
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple
