Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse
Director for our Cardiac Medicine Surgical Unit. This leadership
position will oversee the operational, strategic, and
administrative functions for the unit, ensuring we deliver
outstanding care and adhere to the highest standards in patient
outcomes. The Nurse Director will collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to streamline processes, manage resources,
ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and contribute to
continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee all operational aspects
of the Cardiac Med Surg Unit. Develop and implement strategic plans
to enhance patient care, efficiency, and staff performance. Manage
budgeting and resources allocation. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Lead, recruit, and mentor
nursing staff and support their professional development.
Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to provide
integrated care. Analyze patient feedback and unit performance to
drive continuous improvement. Leadership and managerial skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to
handle budget and resources. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation
standards. Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced
environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of
practice. Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., FACHE) is
preferred.
