Administering medications and treatments to patients and monitoring responses. Collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans. Educating patients and their families on post-surgery care and recovery processes. Documenting patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Ensuring that necessary medical supplies are available and in working order. Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficiency in all aspects of orthopedic care Ability to operate medical equipment related to orthopedic diagnostics and treatments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS/CPR certification Orthopedic Nursing Certification (ONC) is advantageous but not required
