Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
occupational therapy opportunity is available within a K-12 school
setting in Palm Coast, FL, supporting a diverse caseload of
approximately 30 students, including those with medical
complexities. This contract position runs through the current
school year, ending May 29th, 2026, with typical hours from 8:00 am
to 3:30 pm, though exact scheduling is still being finalized.
Responsibilities for this role include assisting the onsite
occupational therapist by managing indirect services such as
completing IEPs, handling billing and paperwork, and supporting
administrative needs. The onsite therapist will primarily focus on
assessments and direct therapy. The position involves working
across multiple school sites, providing comprehensive support to
meet students educational and therapeutic goals. Desired
Qualifications and Experience: Active Florida Occupational
Therapist license Experience working in a school-based setting with
children from Pre-K through 12th grade Familiarity with Medicaid
billing practices within educational environments Prior experience
with PIER and FRONTLINE software platforms for IEP and billing
processes is highly desirable Ability to collaborate effectively
with onsite therapists and school staff to ensure seamless service
