Description Specialization:Surgery TraumaJob Summary: HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a trauma surgeon for their Level II trauma center in Sanford, FL

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified by the ABS with trauma/surgical critical care fellowship
• 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p / 7p-7a
• Incoming surgeon will be the 6th trauma surgeon to round out the group
• Robust step-down unit

    • State verified Level II trauma center
    • 12-hour primary in-house coverage plus 12-hour secondary call from home with 30-min response (rarely called in)
    • Emergency general surgery & trauma call
    • 24/7 on-call neurosurgeons
