    Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) you will provide safe and effective care to a diverse group of outpatient cardiac patients. As a nurse in the Cardiac Rehab department, you will collaborate with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians and Allied Health Technicians.--
    • You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient at the time of admission--
    • You will create a plan of care, including discharge plans, revise the plans based on the patients' response to treatment and regularly evaluate plans for effectiveness--
    • You will document the outcomes of nursing interventions and patient responses--
    • You will be responsible for directing, monitoringand evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on the team.--
    • You will review all new physician orders, ensure that orders are carried out and documented correctlyExperience:
      • 2 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of experience working with cardiac patients--
      • Experience working in a Telemetry Unit or Coronary Care Unit - preferred--
      • Experience caring for patients with coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass surgery and anginaWhat qualifications you will need:
        • Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse
        • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
        • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
