Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will:
  • Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
  • Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
  • Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
  • Administer Lasix
  • Place Foley Catheters
  • Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
  • Start IV in difficult sticks
  • Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator Job Requirements:
    • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
    • Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire
    • BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
    • ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
    • 1 year critical care experience preferred This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 230-bed acute care hospital.
