Job DescriptionPHARMACY TECHNICIAN / PRESCRIPTIONS SUPPORTExcellent Opportunity at a Growing Company!Bring your pharmacy tech or patient care coordinator skills to an innovative, team-oriented, healthcare hub services company! Seeking people with excellent experience in pharmacy, health insurance plans with prescription services, or medical doctors offices as we continue to grow.Qualifications:1-3 years pharmacy or pharmacy tech experience, required (retail or specialty pharmacy, a plus).1-3 years' experience in the medical/healthcare field (i.e. hub services, pharmacy, doctor's office, hospital administration, etc.), required.Pharmacy Technician Certification, preferred, but not required.Familiarity with prescription processes, insurance issues, transfers of Rx, preferred.Orthopedic, pain management, or physical therapy related experience, a plus.Experience interacting with doctors offices, insurance plans and/or pharmacies, preferred.Ability to maintain strict HIPAA patient confidentiality and protecting PHI.Strong computer skills including MS Office and Excel. Adaptable and eager to learn.Direct hire, full-time, onsite opportunity at our corporate headquarters in Maitland, FL.We care about the safety and well-being of our team. TRANSFERS PROGRAM SPECIALISTEssential Functions:Assists MDOs (medical doctors offices) in evaluating referrals and follows up with payers / specialty pharmacy providers to verify the claim / prescription is approved, processed and paid.Serves as primary contact for receiving phone calls.Makes notations in patient profiles regarding a customers care or physicians needs.Handles customer inquiries and forwards to appropriate admin staff.Ensures the seamless transfers of prescriptions and performs related follow-up.Follows up with Rx transferred to specialty pharmacies.Updates MDOs regarding the status of the prescription and documents information.Communicates with the internal team regarding info received from the doctors office, insurance company or employees about the customers care or needs.Hours:Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. Earlier shift may be available based on team needs.Compensation:Starting at $16 - $17 per hour, higher rate may be possible. Offer based upon experience, education, and interview process.
