Director of Nursing - Senior Living

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead their nursing team. RNs with Charge experience are encouraged to apply! The Director of Nursing will oversee the nursing department and ensure the delivery of quality patient care while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Manage and oversee nursing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Coordinate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide high-quality patient care
• Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department and ensure financial performance goals are met
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the healthcare organization
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the healthcare organization
• Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership and direction to nursing staff as needed Qualifications:
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
