All applications must be complete with the following to be considered: We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the development of a new surgery residency program in Sanford, Florida. The Program Director will have a minimum of three years of educational and/or administrative experience and must be American Board of Surgery-certified. The successful applicant will dedicate 30% of their time to non-clinical program administration duties. Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop and oversee the new surgery residency program - Ensure the program meets accreditation requirements - Lead faculty recruitment and curriculum development - Foster a positive learning environment for residents - Monitor and evaluate resident performance - Regularly review and update program policies - Investigate and address any complaints or problems - Liaise with affiliated hospitals and other healthcare organizations Qualifications: - Minimum three years of educational and/or administrative experience - American Board of Surgery-certified - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to think critically and problem-solve Experience and Skills: - Prior experience in residency program development and/or administration - Understanding of the educational process, curriculum design, and assessment - Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements - Ability to interpret and analyze data - Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance Why Join Us: You will have the opportunity to lead the development of a new surgery residency program in a supportive environment in Sanford, Florida.
