Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control Business Area is seeking
a GNC engineer to be a member of the Performance Analysis team on a
missile program. The effort includes: design of the HWIL
facilities, coordination with Integration and Test Engineering,
missile performance analysis for system verification, analysis of
routes for operational analysis, creation of performance analysis
models for a C++ based simulation, creation and modification to
analysis tools using Perl, Python and Matlab, creation of
Simulation Modeling Description Documents (SMDDs) or Analysis
Documents (ANAs), Statistical analysis of pre and post flight
simulation predictions, support to algorithms, and modeling and
simulation teams. Knowledge of Hardware and Software Integration,
RF Networks, Communication protocols and real-time data processing
is highly desired.
You must have a Secret Clearance with an investigation within the
last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications:
You must have a Secret Clearance with an investigation within the
last 5 years.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform one or more of
the following Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) or Modeling
and Simulation (M&S) assignments:
--- Develop and analyze algorithms such as guidance, navigation,
autopilot, inertial tracking, and servo control algorithms
--- Develop, verify, and validate complex vehicle models and
simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations
--- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following
languages: C++, Matlab, Python
--- Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra,
matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate
transformation
Desired Skills:
--- Knowledge of Hardware and Software Integration, RF Networks,
Communication protocols and real-time data processing
--- Proficiency with C++ programming, Matlab, Python, Linux, and
CSF/CMD architecture
--- Ability to perform preflight system performance assessment and
post flight verification analyses
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
