About the Position
First Vehicle Service is looking for an Emergency Vehicle
Technician to service fire equipment and vehicles owned by Seminole
County. - Available shift times vary between 7:00 am - 8:00 pm. -
As a Diesel Mechanic / Emergency Vehicle Technician, you will be
Performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are
safe for our customers.
Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment
repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups,
suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other
Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and
annual maintenance inspections.
Assist with road calls and emergency services.
A vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is
Valid driver's license required; - CDL is highly preferred.
At least 1 year of automotive or diesel repair employment
experience or combination of education & experience.
Must have appropriate mechanic's toolset.
ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE
certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses
Be subject to a drug test.
