Job Description Join First Vehicle Services as a Diesel Mechanic (EVT)! Proudly servicing Seminole County Emergency Fleet. In house EVT Certification training provided by our company. Earn bonus money for each ASE and EVT Certification you obtain. We have a Master Emergency Vehicle Technician onsite to make sure you get the best training in the field! As a First Vehicle Services Diesel Mechanic - EVT, You'll Be Responsible For: * Performing vehicle maintenance to First Vehicle Services Standards of Excellence * Communicating professionally with team members, and supervisors * Diagnosing all phases of vehicle and equipment repair * Working with all vehicle components (bumper to bumper) * Ensuring work orders are completed accurately * Evaluating completed work prior to release * Performing road calls and emergency services as necessary * Moving vehicles safely between job and work area * Actively participating in safety and educational training as required As a Diesel Mechanic-EVT, you'll Need to Have: * Direct experience with repairing heavy-duty trucks (Fire Trucks Preferred) * ASE Heavy Truck (T Series) Certifications preferred; company training provided * EVT Certifications preferred; company training provided * Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL - company training provided for CDL * Appropriate mechanic's toolset * Ability to work as a team and independently. * Be subject to a drug test and physical So, Who Are We?
