Job Description:

Tile Roof Mechanics/Shinglers (steep slope roofing candidates) install and replace shingles, tiles and similar coverings on sloped roofs.POSITION SUMMARY:

• 
  
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings according to current NRCA standards and applicable building codes
  
• Ability to perform assigned tasks daily through completion with a strong attention to detail
  
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
  
• Must be able to maneuver on steep slope roofing systems for entire shift durations
  
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications
  
• Perform work within all safety guidelines
  
  POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 3+ years of commercial experience in steep slope roof systems
    
  • Must be able to climb a 40 ladder; no fear of heights
    
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
    
  • Must be able to climb or balance, stoop and kneel repetitively
    
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
    
  • Work well in a team environment
    
  • Valid driver s license
    
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening (drug & background)
