Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide essential speech
and language services for elementary students from PreK through 5th
grade in an on-site school setting. This contract position runs
from February 23, 2026, through May 29, 2026, and supports a shared
caseload of approximately 60-65 students with varied speech and
language needs. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and
language therapy to students with disabilities, including general
education speech/language impairment, intensive support spectrum,
intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and support for
students using communication devices. Collaborate closely with
another SLP in a shared workspace to ensure comprehensive service
delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in
compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and
coordinate with educational staff to support student goals.
Qualifications: Valid Florida Department of Health Professional
License for Speech Language Pathology. Students from PreK to 5th
grade experience preferred. Open to candidates who are Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) practitioners; support will be provided
throughout the contract. Ability and enthusiasm to work
collaboratively within a school environment. Strong communication
and organizational skills. Location: Elementary School located in
Apopka, FL (service provided at one school site). Work Schedule:
Full-time, 5 days per week (37.5 hours). Perks: Supportive working
