Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in K-12 educational settings within the Daytona Beach area. This contract position spans the current school year with an anticipated conclusion in June 2026. The role focuses on delivering speech and language support to diverse student populations across multiple school sites. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and interventions tailored to students individual needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social development Qualifications and Experience: Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred Experience working within K-12 school environments is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work independently Location and Schedule: Services will be provided four days per week at one middle school in Port Orange and five days per week at an elementary school in Enterprise/Deltona Full-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week Immediate start with contract ending on June 5, 2026 This position offers the chance to make a tangible impact on student development within a supportive educational setting.
