Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026
school year, serving middle school students in grades 6 through 8.
This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time contract
options, with the possibility of itinerant work across multiple
school locations. The role supports students in developing
essential communication skills within a dynamic educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language
therapy services to middle school students (grades 6-8) in
compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student
progress and participate in team meetings. Maintain accurate
records, perform assessments, and monitor student progress. Follow
district and state guidelines for therapy delivery and
documentation. Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student
needs within the school setting. Qualifications: Masters Degree in
Speech Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a
related field. Current Florida State License in Speech Language
Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA is
required. Experience working with school-aged children,
particularly middle school students, is preferred. Ability to work
full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time (approximately 17.5
hours per week). Flexibility to serve as an itinerant therapist if
assigned to multiple school sites. Location: Middle school setting
in Apopka, Florida. On-site presence required, with possible hybrid
