Job Description:
Classification Title: Admissions Officer I Classification
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. Job Description: The
Division of Enrollment Management is looking for an Admissions
Officer I to coordinate the initial processing of international
applications for undergraduate, graduate, professional, and
certificate programs. In this role, you will review applications
and supporting credentials, determine residency classification for
tuition purposes, and ensure accurate data management across
admissions systems. Key Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to: International Application Processing & Finalization
Coordinate the initial processing of applications for
undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate programs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for international applicants
across all program levels. Advise applicants and academic
departments via phone and email on application requirements and
missing credentials. Review application materials for completeness
and accuracy, ensuring timely and efficient processing. Provide
support to OneStop staff for escalated admissions inquiries related
to international applications. Finalize admitted international
students, including credential verification and management of
holds. Residency & Compliance Review documents to determine
residency classification for tuition purposes. Apply State Board of
Education and Board of Governors regulations regarding residency.
Maintain expertise in immigration documentation and requirements
for international students. Data & System Management Manage
application data in Slate and ensure accurate integration with
Campus Solutions. Create and maintain organization records and
troubleshoot data discrepancies between systems. Other Duties
Participate in cross-functional events, committees, and training
initiatives. Assist with special projects and other duties as
assigned. Expected Salary: $43,888 annually In addition, UF offers

equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred:
Proven experience delivering excellent customer service and
engaging effectively with the public Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across
departments Skilled in compiling, organizing, and analyzing data
Problem-solving abilities with expertise in troubleshooting data
issues Experience using admissions systems such as Slate and/or
PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Adaptable and eager to learn new
